NEW Banish Burnout with Balance!
Workplace burnout has reached alarming levels, with 77% of U.S. professionals reporting symptoms, and even more alarming figures among millennials. Dr. André Walton, a renowned business coach and social psychologist, addresses this critical issue in his keynote, drawing upon his extensive experience as a Visiting Professor of Creativity and Entrepreneurship. His program, “Banish Burnout,” offers a distinctive approach that views burnout as a multifaceted challenge, distinct from mere stress.
Learning Objectives/Takeaways:
3. Promote Wellness Strategies: Implement actionable wellness strategies that lead to a sustainable work-life balance.
4. Enhance Collaboration: Cultivate better relationships at work and at home through shared understanding and enhanced emotional intelligence.
5. Boost Motivation and Productivity: Develop a personalized action plan to sustain energy levels and increase overall motivation.
As a species and as individuals, thinking creatively is an innate human drive. It is important in optimizing our thinking for better decision-making processes and in our lives in general. Creativity is also the source of our social evolution (we don’t have the iPhone just because we have opposable thumbs!)
In the complex world we have created most of us lose the ability to think creatively. This becomes replaced by the efficiency-driven, knee-jerk, reactive thinking - devoid of any creativity or originality. Re-gaining creative thinking brings many benefits from increased emotional intelligence (yes, that uses the same neural pathways), better decision-making, and greater happiness (which has been shown to correlate with creativity).
A triple whammy!
